A song about an upside down kiss, insecurities and about a relationship that's just not working.
Wrote it on March 12 in 2005, but it didn't get released until halfway 2007, on Planet Heartbreak 1. The strange Gwen Stefani-esque bridge was made up later. Biggest compliment I received about this song was it has three chorusses.
lyrics
Take what you need and
Then leave me to bleed here
Find satisfaction
And then just dissapear
You say you are true
But you're not true
And you said you'd be here
But you're not here
You say that you care
But you don't care
And you say you're like me
But you're not like me at all
I'm just floating, floating around
You're standing with 2 feet on the ground
I I I I'm hanging upside down
And I wonder
Aren't we a little old for this?
I wanna wanna do
The spider-man kiss
Make me adore you
Then roll to your own side
Find satisfaction
In making my heart hide
You say you're in love
But it's not love
And you said you would call
But you never call
You say you are true
But you're not true
And you say I'm like you
But I'm not like you at all
Kiss me boy, don't be such a baby
I'm not your toy and you're not my lady
